I wanted to put out a response to address a number of posts regarding Patton's War. I don't blame readers with being a bit annoyed that another novel came out before finishing the trilogy. All I can say is that additional duties at work and a serious case of writer's block stopped progress on the next volume of the trilogy.
Then the craziness of the 2016 Election hit home and I just couldn't get the story inspired by everything going on out of my head so I started writing and hence The Fall of President Douglas J. Wolfe was born. I think its my best writing yet and believe my alternative history readers will enjoy it. I hope you give it a chance.
The good news is that I am about a hundred pages into Patton's War already and am thinking of releasing the last volume in two parts due to the long lag time between releases. I will keep people up to date on my progress and thanks again for your patience.

ReplyDeleteFor five years from publishing Truman's War, and two long years of saying you are hard at work on Patton's War I ask this. How much long must your fan base wait? I know writing is hard, but if you're not going to finish it, just say so and be done with it.
